THOUSANDS HAVE A SCARY GOOD TIME AT SILSBEE DOWNTOWN HALLOWEEN BASH

Downtown Silsbee came alive Saturday, October 24, as thousands of residents and visitors flooded the streets for the 7th Annual Silsbee Downtown Halloween Bash, making this year's celebration one to remember. What began seven years ago has grown into one of Silsbee's most anticipated community traditions, bringing families, friends, local businesses, and visitors together for a day filled with excitement, entertainment, and hometown spirit. Hosted by Satsuma Valley Studios, this year's celebration featured a bustling vendor market, delicious food, live entertainment, the Spooktacular Car Show, and the always-popular Trunk or Treat. From creative costumes to smiling children carrying bags of candy, downtown was filled with the sights and sounds of Halloween fun. Throughout the day, vendors welcomed crowds of shoppers while local entertainers helped keep the festivities going. Families explored downtown, visited booths, enjoyed delicious treats, and celebrated everything that makes Silsbee such a special place to call home. But beyond the costumes, candy, and entertainment, this year's Halloween Bash carried an even greater purpose. The event was dedicated to helping Silsbee Volunteer Firefighter Mike Morrison in his battle against ALS. Proceeds from the day's festivities were designated to support Morrison, reminding everyone that this celebration was about much more than Halloween. It was about a community coming together to support one of its own. Behind the scenes, countless volunteers, sponsors, local businesses, first responders, and community partners worked to make the celebration possible. Their dedication helped transform downtown Silsbee into a gathering place where thousands could make lasting memories. The event has become more than just an annual celebration. It has become a tradition that brings generations together, supports local businesses, and showcases the tremendous heart of the Silsbee community. As the festivities came to an end Saturday night, one thing was certain: Silsbee knows how to come together and celebrate. With seven successful years of Halloween memories now in the books, excitement is already building for the 8th Annual Silsbee Downtown Halloween Bash, scheduled for October 30, 2027.To every volunteer, sponsor, vendor, entertainer, first responder, and family who helped make this year's celebration possible, thank you.
