1st Annual Standard of Excellence Awards

Celebrating Local People, Local Stories, and Local Heart

Date: Saturday, February 27, 2027 Location: TBA SOON! Dress Code: Semi-Formal

Join Satsuma Valley Publishing for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate the first anniversary of the Satsuma Valley Standard magazine with our inaugural Standard of Excellence Awards!

This special evening is dedicated to recognizing the incredible individuals, businesses, educators, first responders, volunteers, and community leaders who make Silsbee and the surrounding communities such wonderful places to call home.

Guests will enjoy a delicious dinner, an exciting awards ceremony, raffles, entertainment, and an evening filled with community pride and celebration. From everyday heroes to outstanding local businesses, we will honor those who go above and beyond to make a positive difference.

But this event is about more than awards. It's about giving back.

Half of the money raised will support the continued growth and operation of the Satsuma Valley Standard, while the other half will establish the Satsuma Valley Scholarship Fund, benefiting two deserving seniors from Silsbee High School.

Tickets: $25 per person Table Sponsorships: $200 (includes seating for 10 guests) Additional Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities Available

As we celebrate our first year of sharing local stories, we invite the community to join us in honoring excellence, creating lasting memories, and investing in the next generation.
